Nice to meet you! My name is Seagee (simply pronounced c-g)
Rooted in Christ was birthed from the oil of what nearly crushed me.
Rooted in Christ was never meant to be casual. It was never meant to be convenient. It was born out of a burden to see women grounded in the Word of God, confident in truth, and unshaken in their faith. My prayer for you comes straight from Colossians 1:9–11 — that you would be filled with the knowledge of God’s will, with all spiritual wisdom and understanding; that you would walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him; that your life would bear fruit in every good work; and that you would be strengthened with all power according to His glorious might, so that you can endure, stand firm, and remain faithful.
I am not interested in raising up women who simply attend church. I am committed to raising women who know the Word, live it, and pass it on. Rooted in Christ exists to equip the saints, to make disciples who make disciples, and to build a sisterhood that stands in the gap — women who pray with authority, fast with intention, and fight spiritually for one another.
This is a place where we open our Bibles.
Where truth matters.
Where obedience is expected.
Where prayer is not a last resort, but our first response.
You will be challenged here. You will be stretched. You will be called higher. And you will not walk alone. When one of us is weary, another stands in the gap. When one is under attack, we lock arms and contend together. I believe God is raising up women who are rooted, disciplined, and spiritually prepared. Women who are not afraid of conviction, not offended by truth, and not intimidated by the call of God on their lives.
If you are looking for comfort without commitment, this may not be the place for you.
But if you are hungry to grow, willing to be taught, and ready to stand firm — you belong here.
This is the year we go deeper.

When you walk into a Rooted in Christ gathering, you’re stepping into more than a women’s ministry—you’re stepping into a family. We are everyday women with different stories, different backgrounds, and different struggles, but we come together with one shared desire: to grow deeper in our relationship with Jesus.
Here you’ll find a safe place for encouragement, prayer, and fellowship. Some of us come carrying heavy burdens, some are seeking direction, and others simply long for deeper community. Wherever you are, you are welcome. Together, we open God’s Word, share testimonies of His goodness, and lift one another up in prayer and fasting.
At the heart of Rooted in Christ is a servant-hearted sisterhood—a community of women who don’t just show up for themselves, but who show up for each other. We believe in bearing one another’s burdens, celebrating each other’s victories, and walking side by side through every season.
This is a place to find strength when you feel weary, healing when you feel broken, and purpose when you feel lost. Our prayer is that every woman who gathers with us would leave more firmly rooted in Christ and more deeply connected to a sisterhood that reflects His love.
